Relocation Assistance
Relocation assistance is a federal relief program that consolidates the federal relocation efforts and standardizes the type of relief available to displaced persons. To claim relocation assistance, conformity with the requirements of the federal act is compulsory, and the aggrieved landlord should follow proper statutory procedures. After the decision statutory determines you're an eligible displaced person, a relocation agent will contact you and offer you relocation assistance.
The qualified staff and contract relocation agents offer relocation assistance. They make sure to assist you in a better way so that you can relocate successfully. First, a relocation agent will arrange a meeting with you to know your needs and requirements. They will explain relocation services and payments according to your needs and eligibility. You need to provide the agent with a written determination of the amount of replacement housing payment and the current list of comparable properties. The relocation assistance payment program includes two types of payment:

• Moving Expenses
Most tenants and homeowners receive the payment for their reasonable expenses in moving their family and property.
• Replacement Housing Payments
If the homeowners cannot purchase a comparable replacement house at a price equal to what they receive from the relocation agents, they will receive supplemental payment.
